Understanding the Power

An EV charger is simply a smart mains outlet. It supplies the same 230 V AC power as your home socket but with built-in communication for safety. Our adapter’s electronics simulate the EV handshake so the charge point delivers full current to your appliance or distribution board without a car connected.

When used on a 7 kW single-phase Type 2 outlet, only L1 + N + E are active (230 V 16 A max). On an 11 kW or 22 kW 3-phase outlet, all three phases are energised for 400 V operation. For public chargers, end the session in the network app before unplugging.
