Conventional Type-2 to CEE adapters will only operate when plugged directly into an EV charge point. They cannot function at the end of a tethered cable, because the built-in CP resistor in the EV lead prevents current from flowing. Our exclusive Type-2 → Schuko → CEE kit bypasses that limitation safely and maintains full IP44 weather protection.

How It Works

1. The Type-2 plug connects to your EV wallbox or tethered charger outlet.
2. It converts the supply to a Schuko socket — the European standard used throughout Germany and most of the EU — rated IP44 for splash resistance.
