HDIUK LTD (MotorCables.co.uk) specializes in the custom manufacture of mains power cables and connectors. We operate with a dedicated team of 3 employees based in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

2. Quality Policy

We are committed to maintaining high standards and exceptional quality to uphold our British manufacturing responsibility. Our focus is on producing safe, reliable products that also reflect a high-quality appearance and feel.

3. Quality Objectives

• To consistently produce products that meet safety and reliability requirements.
• To deliver products that meet customer expectations in look and feel.
• To reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction through ongoing quality controls.

4. Organizational Structure

Jim Saunders, Director, is responsible for overall quality management and compliance. All employees are trained and expected to adhere to quality procedures in their roles.

5. Processes and Procedures

• Purchasing: All materials and components are sourced from approved suppliers. Incoming materials are inspected to ensure conformity.
• Production: Manufacturing follows defined procedures to ensure consistent quality.
• Inspection: Finished products undergo inspection to verify compliance with specifications.
• Shipping: Products are packaged using recycled materials where possible and checked for quality before dispatch.
• Non-conformities: Although errors and defects are very rare, any non-conformities are logged on a spreadsheet, investigated promptly, and corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.

6. Document Control

Quality documents and records are maintained in both paper and PDF formats. We constantly monitor documentation to ensure only current versions are in use, and obsolete documents are archived or removed appropriately.

7. Training

Employees receive training to ensure they understand the product functionality and correct assembly processes. Training is provided and updated on a monthly basis.
