Our normal EV Type 2 to CEE 230 Volt 16A Socket Power Supply Converter. only allows power to flow when it is connected directly to the EV charge point socket. We had to come up with a solution for those who have tethered charge points.

So therefore we decided to use our standard type-2 converter which works on the end of a tether or ev charging cable. The problem was, that normal UK plugs are not outdoor rated. but our schuko to 16a cee fly lead is IP44 rated. So we convert Type-2 to Schuko then schuko to 16A CEE.

Schuko is just a Eruopean plug system like they use in France and Germany.
