Can this 32A extension lead be used outdoors?
Yes. The CEE plug and socket are IP44 splash-resistant under the specified assembly and mating conditions. The connector rating does not mean the complete lead may be immersed or exposed to water jets.
What is the maximum continuous load for this cable?
The connector rating is 32 A per phase. The permissible load also depends on cable length, installation conditions and supply protection. At nominal 400 V, 32 A three-phase is approximately 22 kW for a balanced resistive load.
Can I connect this to an EV charge point?
