Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many sockets does this 32 A splitter provide?
A: It converts a single 32 A CEE outlet into four 13 A UK sockets (two IP66 twin outlets).
Q: Are the sockets fused internally?
A: The connected UK plugs contain their own fuses. These do not establish protection for every part of the splitter assembly; the complete cable and socket arrangement still requires suitable upstream protection.
Q: Can I use this if I only have a 5-pin 3-phase socket?
A: A compatible five-pin three-phase to 230 V single-phase adapter may be used only with a neutral, correct wiring and suitable protection for the complete assembly. Check the supply and connected loads before use.
Q: Is this splitter suitable for outdoor use in wet conditions?
A: Yes – the IP66-rated sockets and sealed glands protect against rain and dust for safe outdoor operation.
Q: What type of cable is used?
A: It uses 4 mm² Arctic-grade 3-core cable for low voltage drop and maximum durability over distance.
Q: Is this splitter made and tested in the UK?
A: Yes – each unit is assembled and tested in the United Kingdom for professional safety and reliability.
